TaoBot
Smooth Operator Challenge
The first five minutes of Zoom should not be “Are we waiting on anyone?” Add TaoBot, share one privacy-safe meeting-start chaos story, tag TaoBot, and use #SmoothOperatorChallenge. First 5,000 qualifying entries get Smooth free for life.
Participation
No scavenger hunt, screenshots, or form required. Start with LinkedIn if you want the simplest fit, or use another public social platform where TaoBot can review the post. Tag TaoBot’s official account and include #SmoothOperatorChallenge so we can spot your entry.

Post a short privacy-safe story about roll call, mystery Zoom names, late arrivals, awkward nudges, or “are we waiting on anyone?”
Use #SmoothOperatorChallenge and tag TaoBot’s official account so your post is easy to find and count toward the first 5,000.
If the tag gets weird or your post is hard to find, no stress — send us the public link from the bottom of this page.
Where to post
LinkedIn is the default launch lane because TaoBot is built for people who run real meetings. Short-form platforms work best when the story is visual, funny, or easy to replay.
Best default
Share the professional version: the first five minutes of Zoom should not be roll call, and meeting readiness should not depend on memory.
Best demo
Show the before and after: chaotic roll call, TaoBot readiness snapshot, then the meeting starts cleanly.
Best skit
Act out the funny version: “iPhone,” “Conference Room 3,” mystery initials, and the host trying to guess who is actually here.
Best short take
Post the sharp line: roll call is a workflow smell. Add the hashtag, tag TaoBot, and point people to smoother meetings.
What to post
Keep it short, funny, and safe. Use fictional names or no names. Tag TaoBot’s official account and include the hashtag so the entry is easy to find and reshare.
Privacy-safe by design
TaoBot is a meeting readiness assistant, not a recorder, transcript tool, or employee surveillance product. The challenge should not expose private workplace content.
Do not post
Avoid meeting names, calendar titles, internal project names, customer names, and confidential context.
Do not post
Use fictional names or general descriptions. Do not call out a real coworker or customer.
Do not post
Skip meeting screenshots, calendar screenshots, chat logs, audio, video, transcripts, or screen recordings.
Do post
Keep the story relatable: mystery names, late arrivals, roll call, awkward nudges, and “are we waiting on anyone?”
Eligibility
Entries are considered in the order the TaoBot team finds or receives them. To qualify, your post must be public or accessible for review, include #SmoothOperatorChallenge, tag TaoBot’s official account when platform tagging is available, follow the privacy-safe posting rules, and be tied to an active TaoBot account.
Smooth-for-life grants are account-specific, non-transferable, and available while TaoBot continues to offer the Smooth plan, subject to fair use, account standing, and challenge terms.
The TaoBot team has the final decision on eligibility, entry order, and who receives a Smooth-for-life grant.
Smooth is TaoBot’s personal plan for one organizer who owns the roster, reminders, and follow-up. It does not include Together or Scale workspace entitlements.
Backup plan
The easiest entry is still a public post that tags TaoBot’s official account and uses #SmoothOperatorChallenge. If the tag does not work or your post is hard to find, just send us the link and we’ll check it.
